Performance with the KWAIDAN

Kwaidan, the local trio of guitarist André Foisy, modular synth player Neil Jendon, and percussionist Mike Weis, will do some stretching of their own during their opening set. On their LP Make All The Hell Of Dark Metal Bright (Bathetic, 2013), traditional Korean drums lent their open-ended, droning explorations a ceremonial air. Joining them tonight are violinist Leo Park and visiting changgu (traditional Korean drum) player So Ra Kim.
